Another day at the beach

Well, the life of living in Cali is we get to visit the beach quite often. We decided to go and try a new location up near LA. The waves were horrible. They were crashing all the way up on shore and hard. Poor noah was just getting plowed. He seemed to enjoy it anyway. Haeley on the other hand had to stay out of the water. She has been sick the past couple of days to finally find out she has swimmers ear. She has to stay out of the water for a few days until it clears up. We let the kids play for a little bit, had dinner, and then finished with watching the sunset. I really do enjoy being at the beach.

Happy 4th of July

We did a little bit of yard work in the morning and then all decided to jump in the pool. Then later on that day things didn't really go as planned. Haeley decided that it was time to go to bed at 7:00pm. What about seeing the fireworks? Andrew then followed about 9:00. So I put Noah to bed, then Lexi and I shared some time together and did a few pop-its outside. She really is one of my best friends. Thanks for being such a great daughter, I LOVE YOU LEXI!

Noah turns 2

We had a little birthday party for Noah last night. Out of everything he got, the bee car on top of his cake was his favorite.

Preschool Graduation

Haeley had her preschool graduation a few weeks ago and did a great job. She had practiced her part and had it all memorized. When it came time for her to give her part she said half of it and then stopped. Her teacher then approached her to help her finish and Haeley refused. She kept nodding her head and saying NO! The audience was all in laughs at this point and no she never finished her part. I dont think it was because she forgot it, she was just being the stubborn girl that she is and had decided that she was done and nothing was going to change that. All in all it went really well and she can't wait to start Kindergarten next month.

Summer Fun

We finally had a weekend to put our pool up. The kids are having a blast. Haeley has turned into my little mermaid. Last year she wouldn't let her face get near the water and this year she is living under the water. A fear she has finally overcome. horay!!!

Noah's B

Well as a lot of you already know, Noah still sucks on a pacifier. I have been tyring to limit it to night time only and this is what I found in his mouth. If you cant read it, its one of Haeley's cabbage patch dolls pacifier. I guess he is just not ready to give it up yet.

Haeley's Birthday

Haeley was so excited to be turning 5 and she showed it well. She told all of us that she got to do whatever she wanted whenever because it was her special day.(yes, a little attitude is kicking in) She got a bunch of Fancy Nancy stuff from us and told us that we need to learn to be a little more fancy. She now can only wear fancy clothes,(definition of fancy clothes unknown). She is really growing up and it shows.
